The Tampa General Medical Group's Nephrology Division consists of nephrologists certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, registered nurse practitioners and a full complement of nurses and coordinators to facilitate your care. With over 10,000 outpatient visits per year, the TGMG Nephrology Division offers high quality, experienced and comprehensive care to deal with every facet of your acute or chronic kidney disease.
Whether you have recently been diagnosed with a kidney problem, are receiving dialysis treatments, desire to be evaluated for a kidney or pancreas transplant, or have been successfully transplanted, we have the expertise to manage your problem. We are also very interested and experienced in caring for patients with hypertension.
We offer all modalities of dialysis for end-stage renal disease patients including: peritoneal dialysis, in-center hemodialysis, nocturnal hemodialysis and home hemodialysis. We have a multidisciplinary dialysis access service involving TGMG surgeons and the interventional radiology department at Tampa General Hospital.
