Dr. Regales completed medical school, her internal medicine residency, and her endocrinology fellowship at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. Through this training, she gained extensive experience in the treatment of a wide variety of endocrine disorders. These include the management of diabetes and its associated complications, as well as thyroid, adrenal, bone, gonadal, and pituitary disorders. Dr. Regales is board certified in endocrinology and internal medicine.  She has received Resident of the Month awards from Tampa General Hospital, James A. Haley Veteran’s Hospital, and Moffitt Cancer Center for her dedicated inpatient work. She has performed clinical research in the use of U500 insulin for the treatment of diabetics with high insulin resistance. She is also trained in the use of ultrasound technology for the management of thyroid disorders.  Dr. Regales is an active member of the American Medical Association and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. She has been involved in several medical community service projects for the benefit of the Hispanic community and is fluent in Spanish.
