COMMIT, QUIT, SUCCEED

TGH has partnered with The American Cancer Society to help our community commit to quit use of tobacco products (Tobacco products can include cigarettes, snuff, dip, and vaping). We know quitting is hard, we have laid out these resources on this page to help you commit to quit and offer the support you need to help you succeed.

HOW TO PLAN TO QUIT SMOKING

There is no better time to quit.

  • The CDC lists smoking as one of the conditions that might put a person at an increased risk for severe illness from COVID-19.

  • Quitting smoking is a process, and success may look different for different people. There are many ways to quit smoking, and some work better than others. The American Cancer Society can tell you about the steps you can take to quit smoking and help you find quit-smoking programs, resources, and support that can increase your chances of quitting successfully. To learn about the available tools, call 1-800-227-2345 or via live chat on cancer.org
