During the course of this three-month program, participants will learn the fundamentals of how to excel as an emergency department nurse in an environment that embraces compassion and integrity. 

This program provides a solid foundation and encourages strong nurses who will become leaders in the department.There will be opportunities to shadow specialists in pediatric emergency room operations, triage and trauma/resuscitation. 

Qualified candidates will be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, have licensure to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Florida. Candidates also must have a BSN or an ASN degree,have greater than one year of hospital experience and must presently be in a BSN program.
