Chief of TGH Urology Institute Dr. Raviender Bukkapatnam is the medical director of the Urology Institute at Tampa General Hospital and serves as a member of Tampa General Hospital's Foundation Board of Trustees. Dr. Bukkapatnam obtained his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed his fellowship in female urology, reconstruction, and voiding dysfunction at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is one of the few doctors in Florida who has undergone and trained in this complex field. He specializes in voiding dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapses, pelvic pain, and female sexual dysfunction. Dr. Bukkapatnam is known for his effective patient communication and has been awarded "Tampa Metro" Best Doctor four consecutive times. |
