Fetal Care Center

The Fetal Care Center provides highly specialized prenatal and fetal care for pregnancies with the most complex fetal diagnoses. Prenatal imaging, including ultrasound, fetal MRI, fetal echocardiography, and genetic counseling is available to complete a thorough fetal diagnosis.

The center offers multidisciplinary care coordination among high-risk obstetricians, pediatric specialties and nurses who specialize in fetal care. Our nurse coordinator provides continuity of care and a distinct point of contact throughout the pregnancy, helping to ease patient anxiety and navigate a complex medical system.

This unique level of care coordination and clinical expertise in an academic setting is supported by advanced testing and treatment technology.

Jennifer Leigh Muma Neonatal Intensive Care Unit offers high-level specialized care for premature and critically ill newborns. The labor and delivery unit is equipped with operating rooms, delivery suites and specialized antepartum and postpartum care.

The Fetal Care Center offers hope to women going through a complex pregnancy through a seamless provision of innovative fetal therapy techniques with the aid of fetal surgeons, maternal fetal medicine specialists and specialized coordinators.
