Tampa General is bringing trusted primary care and lab services closer to home with the opening of TGMG Babcock Ranch at The Shoppes at Yellow Pine, located at 42040 Cypress Pkwy, Suite 3, Punta Gorda, FL 33982.
Designed to serve both children and adults, the new location will make it easier for Babcock Ranch and surrounding community residents to access world-class care without leaving their neighborhood. From preventive care and annual wellness visits to sick care and chronic disease management, patients will have convenient access to the services they need, backed by Florida's Premier Academic Health System™.
Former Tampa General Mobile Unit patients can now schedule appointments at our new permanent clinic location, providing continued access to the trusted care team they know.

Yes. Patients who previously received care through the Tampa General Mobile Unit in Babcock Ranch can continue their care at the new TGMG Babcock Ranch clinic. The permanent location offers expanded access to primary care services and on-site lab services while maintaining the trusted connection patients have come to expect from Tampa General.
Yes. TGMG Babcock Ranch will offer convenient on-site lab services to support your healthcare needs close to home. The lab will serve patients receiving care at the clinic and will also accept lab orders from non-TGMG providers, helping expand access to testing within the Babcock Ranch and greater southwest Florida community. The lab is designed to make it easier for patients to complete bloodwork and other routine testing without traveling outside the area.
No. The on-site lab accepts orders from TGMG providers as well as lab orders from non-TGMG providers. This gives residents another convenient option for laboratory testing closer to home.
The TGMG Babcock Ranch primary care clinic will be open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
